Micro-precision machining via the Tecan-controlled etch process has decades of proven high reliability, repeatability in flow control, straight from the box. Predictable lamellar flow and subsequent pressure allows low flow rates to be more accurately and more repeatably recorded.

In differential pressure flow control used more particularly in low-flow, high precision flow measurement, a calibrated flow restriction /bypass is inserted into the main flow to create a secondary control loop within the sensor design. Pressure in this loop is continually sensed and monitored with the output driven to a metering valve or control.

Deploying a fixed / calibrated differential pressure element (shim), made from a precision lithographic and etch process can dramatically improve valve flow valve production rates, reduce variability at the OEM build stage and seamlessly improve performance of your application and longevity of your equipment.
